Court Reporting Faculty
Susan L. Chiaravalloti, CSR 6158, has been a court reporter for 23 years. She has been teaching court reporting for 18 years specializing in high-speed classes. Susan has an AAS degree in Medical Transcription from South Coast College of Court Reporting.
Cindy Grafton holds a B.A. degree from California State University, Long Beach and an A.A. degree from El Camino College. Cindy also teaches Court Reporting at Cerritos College and has over 20 years experience.
Dennis Halford has two Associate of Arts Degrees from Cerritos College in English and in Court Reporting. Dennis has been a key instructor in the CSR program since the Fall of 2004.
Maggie Ortiz, CSR 11900, has been a court reporter for 10 years. She has an AAS degree in Court Reporting and Realtime Reporting from South Coast College. Maggie has taught Theory for two years.
Nancy Patterson, CSR, RPR, has over 30 years of teaching experience in English, Stenogtype, Medical, and Law. Nancy has a B.A. in Education, English from Occidental College. Nancy recently received a Certificate of Appreciation from the California Shorthand Reporters Board.
